Ahadith

Ibn Umar relates that the Holy Prophet used to go into retreat in the mosque during the last ten days of Ramadhan (Bokhari and Muslim). (At-Taubah 36, Al-Baqarah 218, At-Taubah 41, At-Taubah 111)

Ayesha relates that the Holy Prophet went into retreat during the last ten days of Ramadhan till Allah caused his death. Thereafter his wives used to go into retreat (Bokhari and Muslim). (At-Taubah 36, Al-Baqarah 218, At-Taubah 41, At-Taubah 111)

Abu Hurairah relates that the Holy Prophet went into retreat for ten days ‘in the month of Ramadhan but in the year in which he died he went into retreat for twenty days (Bokhari). (At-Taubah 36, Al-Baqarah 218, At-Taubah 41, At-Taubah 111)
